A credit card is used to hold your reservation and ensures our staff will be paid in the case of a no-show or late-notice cancellation. Your credit card will not be charged prior to your arrival, and upon check-in, you may choose another form of payment. In the case of a no-show, however, the full-service price will be charged.
What is STRATA Body’s cancellation policy?
To avoid penalty or fee, guests must cancel STRATA Body appointments at least 48 hours prior to the time service(s) is/are scheduled to be performed. Example: If a guest has a service scheduled for 11:00am on Friday, the guest must call to cancel by 11:00am on Wednesday. Guests are encouraged to reschedule the appointment(s) if a cancellation is requested. Please note, confirmation calls are performed three days prior to the day service is scheduled to be performed.
Guests who notify STRATA Body to cancel within the 48-hour to 24-hour time period will incur a 50% fee of the service(s) scheduled.
Guests who notify STRATA Body to cancel within the 24-hour time period will incur a 100% fee of the service(s) scheduled.
Guests who do not notify STRATA Body of a cancellation (“no call-no show”) will incur a 100% fee of the service(s) scheduled.
This fee will be charged to the reservation or credit card received at the time of booking and on file. The cancellation policy may be waived under extenuating circumstances, including illness, family emergencies, and/or delayed flights. Please note, local guests who are delayed by traffic will not be granted waiver of policy.
How do I tip?
For your convenience, a 22% service charge is added to the retail value of your services for the day.
What is the return policy for retail products?
Retail items, defined by spa and salon products and, spa and salon boutique lobby retail items must be returned in there original condition within 14 days of purchase. Verification of purchase is required.
Sales items, electronics items, damaged items, and opened items are not eligible for return or credit.
May we bring our own alcohol to STRATA Body?
No, but we have a variety of alcoholic beverages available for you to order by the glass or bottle during your visit.
Should I bring my swimsuit?
Many guests like to wear swimwear while enjoying the salt rooms, sauna rooms, and experiential showers.
Do I need to wear a robe at STRATA Body?
We offer a plush robe and sandals to every guest. These are for your comfort and convenience but are not required. You may change in your treatment room. Modesty wraps are available by request.
What should I wear during my services?
Since your comfort is our top priority, we offer a variety of options. You may disrobe to your comfort level. Spa robes are available, as well as modesty wraps and disposable undergarments. These are available for both men and women. “Street” clothing may not be suitable for certain massage and body treatments, as the oils and products used may get on your clothing.
May I bring my children to STRATA Body?
A visit to STRATA Body offers a time of peace and relaxation for our guests. Unless your child is scheduled for a service, we ask that you make alternate arrangements for their care during your service time. Children may not be left unattended on the Garden of the Gods Resort and Club property.
Members and resort guests may contact the Front Desk at 719-632-5541 to make arrangements for your child to enjoy Kids’ Club (located at the Recreation Center) during your services. Kids’ Club is open 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM, Monday to Friday, and is appropriate for children independent in the restroom.
May I receive services if I am pregnant?
Yes! STRATA Body offers a variety of services that will be safe and comfortable for you during pregnancy. In order to ensure your safety, we do not perform any massage services during the first trimester. Our policy is to book pre-natal massages starting the 13th week of pregnancy.
What are my responsibilities as a STRATA Body guest?
During your STRATA Body experience, your safety and comfort is our top concern. So we may serve you better, we ask that you please advise us of any health conditions or special needs prior to your treatment. Your therapist will determine the best course of action in the event a service does not appear to be suitable for you. We are committed to making your experience pleasant and enjoyable.
