Karly Powell

Dr. Karly Powell is a registered naturopathic doctor utilizing therapeutic nutrition, functional biochemistry diagnostics, and herbal medicine to help patients understand the root cause of symptoms and stimulate the body’s innate capacity to heal. She has expertise in treatment of complex chronic diseases including autoimmune disorders, thyroid disease, dementia and Alzheimer’s, digestive disorders, environmental toxicity and medical detoxification, and chronic infections.

Dr. Powell received her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine and completed her residency in Naturopathic Primary Care at the National University of Natural Medicine (formerly National College of Natural Medicine) in Portland, OR. She was drawn to naturopathic medicine as it combines the best of modern medicine with traditional healing practices like nutrition, herbal medicine, homeopathy, and lifestyle wellness. She joined the Strata Health and Wellness team 5 years ago. She has lived in Colorado for 6 years and loves to ski, snowboard, and compete in triathlons.

Dr. Powell loves working with patients to develop a proactive approach to their care, teaching them the skills to optimize diet and lifestyle for healing. Her approach to treatment goes beyond symptoms, using advanced functional diagnostic testing to identify the deepest imbalances that underlie disease and dysfunction in the body.
