With more than four decades of experience, Bev Stewart has been involved in a variety of Wellness and Fitness adventures and experiences; since this time, Bev has been a Certified ACE Group Fitness Instructor and has taught Aerobic Dance, Step, Slide, Body Pump, TRX, Spinning/Indoor Cycling, Yoga, Pilates, and Water Aerobics.
Bev received a bachelor’s degree from Washington State University and engaged in graduate-level coursework in Sports Medicine from the University of North Dakota.
She acquired her first Personal Training Certification in 2005 and now trains athletes on a weekly basis. Bev enjoys training athletes and clients of all ages; she loves to personalize individual workout sessions and support her athletes in achieving their health and wellness goals. She especially enjoys teaching on the Pilates Reformer and incorporates Pilates moves in her other workouts and Group Exercise classes.
Bev has previously served in leadership and supervisory roles within state fitness associations, national sport clubs, boutique resort fitness centers, and local gyms. Prior to joining Strata Fit, Bev served as the Fitness Supervisor at the legendary Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five-Diamond resort, The Broadmoor.
She shared, “The best thing about being a part of Strata Fit is the variety of equipment and tools to use for athletes’ workouts and those resources that can keep each workout different and challenging.”
Her favorite workout tip is “Keep moving! Motion is lotion.”
Bev’s interests include her family, friends, hiking, biking, cooking, and painting – with her favorite activity being spending time with her grandson, Sam.
