BEV STEWART – STRATA Fit Supervisor
Bev is the Fitness Center Manager at our Garden of the Gods Resort and Clubs Fitness Center facility. Having obtained her ACE (American Council on Exercise) Group Fitness Instructor certification in 1987, she has been in the fitness and wellness field for over 30 years, and is certified in Pilates Reformer, spinning, Les Mills Body Pump and CX Worx Core Training, aqua fitness, and a variety of other specialties. She became a certified personal trainer in 2007.
A graduate of Washington State University, Bev previously served as the fitness supervisor at The Broadmoor; and as a dietary manager, group exercise manager, and wellness director for Medcenter One in Bismarck, North Dakota. Bev enjoys hiking and biking and spending time in the mountains with friends and family.

STEVEN THOMPSON, CPT – Holistic Human Performance Coach
Steven Thompson is a Holistic Human Performance Coach with nearly two decades of experience in many different areas inside the sports, nutrition, and fitness industry —including over 40,000 hours of private and group training sessions. His approach to health and long-term wellness is to individualize fitness program, working with the mind and then transitioning to the physical component, which produces positive habit changes, leading to long-term sustainable results.
Steve’s expertise includes sports specific training, female fitness, meal planning, and nutrition.
TRACY IVERSON – Fitness and Lifestyle Coach
Tracy Iverson is an expert in physical fitness and lifestyle design. With over 15 years of experience in strength training, rehabilitation, performance-based nutrition and exercise consulting, executive coaching, and post-injury rehabilitation, Tracy has worked with a wide variety of clients including world-class athletes and executives.
Tracy’s expertise is on personalized fitness training, nutritional supplements, pre- and post-workout meals, skin fold caliper body fat testing, strength training, and optimizing healthy living.
FERNANDO ARAGON – Certified Personal Trainer
Fernando is a motivated Colorado Springs personal trainer who is very passionate about the health and wellness industry. He is certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and has a second accreditation through the American Council of Exercise. Fernando is not a born native, but a Coloradan at heart. After serving in the military, he began studying mixed martial arts, which eventually led him on his path into fitness.
Fernando is a graduate of Intellitec Medical Institute, and is into all sports, as well as being an avid golfer. He is happy to be at Garden of the Gods Resort and Club and excited to help members and guests with whatever fitness goals they want to achieve. His motto is, “The greatest pleasure in life is doing what people say you cannot do.”
RODNEY VALDEZ – Certified Fitness Instructor
A certified yoga instructor since 2002, Rodney has extensive training in diverse yoga paths in addition to certifications in Pilates, PiYo, Mind/Body Personal Trainer, Tai Chi, Indoor Cycling, Les Mills Body Flow, and Barre. His multifaceted approach of teaching provides a personalized fitness experience with emphasis on challenging each student’s limit as well as tailoring his teaching to the needs of each student. Rodney has been an integral part of the Fitness Center at Garden of the Gods Resort and Club since 2008.
NICK GOULD – Certified Personal Trainer & Instructor
Nick has over 20 years of personal training and coaching experience. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science and is currently working on his Master’s Degree in Sports Psychology. He is an ISSA-certified personal trainer, 200-hour certified yoga instructor, endurance coach, and teaches indoor cycling classes. Nick believes in the five pillars of fitness — Strength, Endurance, Core, Balance, and Flexibility — and integrates them into every training session. He specializes in corrective exercise for injury prevention and performance enhancement.
COREY MOSS – Certified Personal Trainer
Corey is a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and National Personal Trainer Institute in Colorado Springs. Corey is also a long-time rock climber and martial artist. His training philosophy is to ensure everyone has the best quality of life through functional exercises that relates to everyday life. His passion is to help members and guests reach every fitness goal in a safe, functional way.
