Premier Tennis at Garden of the Gods Resort
Showcasing breathtaking views of its majestic surroundings, our Colorado tennis courts are a smash hit for members and guests of Garden of the Gods Resort and Club. Choose from two outdoor courts and four indoor courts at the Recreation Center or our newest facility (Vermilion) located on the south end of the Main Lodge Complex, which has 3 new outdoor courts and 6 new pickleball courts perfect for year-round play. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
With a full-time, USPTA/USPTR-certified professional on-site and a full-service Tennis Pro Shop — complete with leading-edge equipment, fashion, and accessories — you’ll always be prepared for a game, no matter your age or ability.

Our Colorado Tennis Courts
Experience world-class tennis at Garden of the Gods Resort with four indoor courts (available year-round) and five scenic outdoor courts, offering breathtaking Colorado views. Members and resort guests enjoy premium facilities, professional services, and flexible booking options.
Indoor Courts
We are proud to offer four indoor tennis courts for members and resort guests. Open seven days a week, these courts offer the best option to continue play without weathering the elements.
Pricing & Reservations
The charge for indoor court time for resort guests is $40 per hour, and members indoor court fee is $30 per hour or $45 for 90-minutes.
Ball machine rental is $35 per hour including court time (indoor court use only). Rentals may only be made during tennis shop hours – Monday-Friday from 8:30am-1pm.
Racquets may be rented for $10 per racquet and may be made during tennis shop hours. Outside of shop hours, rentals may be made through the concierge.
The member-guest fee is $15 per hour + lesson/clinic fees; fee may be collected by pro shop staff or charged to your member account. Non-members (excluding Resort Guests) must be sponsored by a Club Member. The sponsoring Club Member must email their guest’s information to the Director of Racquet Sports at [email protected] prior to play, lessons, clinics, or events.
Members are asked to verify participants with Garden of the Gods Resort and Club’s front desk to assure proper billing and each guest has a 6 visit limit per year total. Reservations for indoor courts may be made up to seven days in advance.
30-minute booking windows for indoor courts are not permitted.
Guests at Garden of the Gods Resort and Club may reserve an indoor court by calling the Tennis Pro Shop at 719-329-4012.
Outdoor Courts
Want to swing with the gods? Our five outdoor Colorado tennis courts combine great play with a spectacular setting. (Please note: Outdoor courts are weather permitting.)
Pricing & Reservations
Both members and resort guests must have a reservation to play on our outdoor courts.
Club Member fee: n/a
Resort Guest fee: $30 per hour
Resort Guest can book a reservation by calling the Front Desk at ext. 0.
Member Guest fee: $15 per hour + lesson/clinic fees. Non-members (excluding Resort Guests) must be sponsored by a Club Member. The sponsoring Club Member must email their guest’s information to the Director of Racquet Sports at [email protected] prior to play, lessons, clinics, or events.
The fee may be collected by pro shop staff or charged to your member account.
Members can reserve an outdoor court by accessing our member portal.
Reservations may not be made for more than 1.5 hours. If necessary, you are responsible for canceling your court reservation 24 hours in advance.
Tennis Programs
Looking to better your skills? Our USPTA/USPTR-certified tennis pros at Garden of the Gods Resort and Club are ready to help you advance your game and take the courts by storm. In addition to a variety of events, we offer private tennis lessons, semi-private lessons, and camps for individuals or groups of all ages: juniors and adults. Our experienced certified instructors can give you targeted help on one particular area of your game or help you develop each of your strokes. You could also focus on tactical play and mental toughness. All of these areas can be covered with a few private lessons or over an extended period of regular lessons.
RESORT GUESTS: Resort Guests indoor court fees are $40/hour and outdoor court fees are $27/hour
NON-MEMBERS: All non-member play needs to be sponsored by member. Fees for all non-members playing with a member is $15/hour plus court time or other applicable clinic/lesson fees. It is the responsibility of the member to report non-member usage to the Director of Racquet Sports or Pro Shop Staff if a non-member is participating in Club sponsored lessons, camps and events and contact info for the guest must be provided in writing.
Adult Tennis Programs
Whether you want to refine your technique, sharpen tactical play, or build mental toughness, our experienced instructors provide structured, high-energy sessions to all skill levels.
We run co-ed, adult tennis drills and clinics every week, rain or shine.

Junior Tennis Program
We offer a robust Junior Tennis Program, offering multi-week development and training for a variety of age groups and levels. Whether your children are just getting started, or they’re highly competitive, there’s a session that will be perfect for them.
Tennis Camps
We offer various tennis camps throughout the year for both adults and children. There is a minimum commitment of 2-3 days with a capacity of 12 participants per day. They run three hours per day and the pricing is determined by how many people are registered for the camp.

Scott Leifer is our Director of Racquet Sports and the 2022 Intermountain Tennis Professional of the Year.
He has been a Director of Racquet Sports at several locations across the country for over 20 years. Scott Leifer is a builder of the best junior tennis programs.

Tennis Pro Shop
Garden of the Gods Resort and Club has a full-service Tennis Pro Shop — complete with leading-edge equipment, fashions, and accessories. We also have a professional stringer on staff who provides a 24-hour turnaround on rackets. Open Monday-Friday from 8:30am-1pm.

Tennis Attire
Proper tennis attire should be worn, and shirts are required at all times. For your safety, please wear tennis sneakers. However, please refrain from wearing: dark-soled running or hiking shoes, bathing attire, jeans, sports bras (with no shirt), sleeveless shirts for men, sandals, and other non-tennis dress. Collared shirts are not required.
